About this Tumblr

‘Looking around’ can often end up being a hobby as well. I often find myself going out not with an aim, other than to see what I can find. Yet it is precisely because of this lack of aim that I chance upon many new things and experiences because I am not bounded to narrowing down my search for a specific thing.

This applies to pretty much most of the things that I do: travelling, shopping and just killing time, really. Why restrict yourself to a certain thing when there is a whole array of things out there that is just waiting for you to discover? Henceforth comes the aim for this Tumblr.

Many of the experiences that we gain are never through our own efforts solely, but rather, it is often due to the experiences shared by others. Likewise, as I learn more about the world from others’ and my own experiences, I want to share them with other people who are interested in similar things as well.

My Tumblr posts could range from things about art, advertising, fashion and travels. However, sometimes I can get too caught up with the insane amount of readings that I have to do and essays to write, posting of entries will not be extremely regular. The entries are also dependent on what I am involved in and researching about at that point in time.

Case in point? My entries on my 6-weeks long Beijing trip are currently on hold because I haven’t really had time to devote myself to write proper comprehensive entries.

As far as possible though, I will try to keep my Tumblr updated with little tidbits that I come across every now and then.
